Marianne Montgomery
As founding partner of the business, Marianne brings with her twenty years of retail and financial services industry experience. She began her career as a graduate trainee with Marks and Spencer in their Human Resources Department. She then moved to Robert Fleming & Co as Personnel Manager with a global remit.
Marianne’s business development and sales skills were recognised by the firm and she moved into the asset management division, where she enjoyed success selling Flemings funds to the offshore market place. After considerable achievements in this field, she left Flemings in 2000 to join a search consultancy, setting up an asset management team, utilising her business development skills and recruiting at senior level. Since 2000 she successfully executed many high level assignments within the financial services sector and subsequently founded The Montgomery Partnership Ltd, specializing in asset management, in 2004.
Paul Tonking
Paul has 25 years experience working in the asset management industry. He spent 18 years at JP Morgan (Heritage Flemings) working in a variety of client facing roles.
Paul joined the Montgomery Partnership Ltd in 2005, renewing his working relationship with Marianne Montgomery. He has successfully completed many high level assignments in asset management ranging from Fund Managers to Client Service Executives.
Sarah Hogg
Sarah graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2010 with a 2.1 in English Literature and a 1st in Creative Writing. She joined The Montgomery Partnership in 2011, where she maintains the systems and assists with diary management for the senior partners.
She is now studying for an Investment Management Certificate.
